Mendoza

Located along the base of the highest mountains of the Andes, Mendoza is the gateway to the Pacific Ocean. The weather is pleasant, mild with little rain and very few windy days, thanks to the protection of the mountain range.
It has a dynamic artistic and cultural activity. The City is the ideal starting point for excursions to important tourist attractions, such as the Wine Routes, the mountains, rivers, hot springs, and nature reserves.
For all this, the City of Mendoza invites those who visit it to reconnect with nature, history, new friendships and why not, with ourselves.
In 1987 it was named as the International Capital of Wine by the OIV, designated 8th World Wine Capital, and chosen as one of the 21 most wonderful cities in the world during the “New7Wonders Cities” contest. The Best Malbec in the world comes from Mendoza.

Gastronomy

It is a fusion of European and local flavors accompanied by the best selected wines. The star dish is the beef that stands out in signature restaurants and wineries, but we also find a wide range of Italian and gourmet restaurants, positioning Mendoza's gastronomy as one of the main ones in the country.

DID YOU KNOW?... La Payunia Provincial Reserve, located in the Department of Malargüe, 570 kilometers from the city of Mendoza, is the region with the highest density of volcanoes on the planet; it has more than 800.
