The gastronomy of Salta is a mixture of traditions that combine two different cultures, the Spanish and the indigenous, that emerged in the region. Gastronomy has considerably influenced it, giving rise to a wide variety of nutritious and tasty dishes. If you travel to Salta you cannot miss locro, humita, tamales, empanadas, chanfaina and quinoa soup, all typical dishes.

DID YOU KNOW?... Salta has the famous train of the clouds that reaches 4000 meters above sea level. The adventure begins in the fertile valleys and climbs up to the famous Puna (high plateau).
